Happy Birthday Scott!!!!
Today we celebrated Scott's birthday. The kiddos decorated the sunroom with streamers, balloons, a birthday banner, and a "Star Wars" birthday cake. We went out to dinner at "The Mineshack" to celebrate.

"Orange Day"
Braden's class studied the color orange today. They were asked to wear that color today. He really enjoyed coloring a picture of a basketball.

"Brown and Purple Day"
Braden's class studied the colors brown and purple today. They were asked to wear one or both of those colors. He enjoyed making the grape page in the picture.

"Blue Day"
Today was "Blue Day" in Braden's class. They were asked to wear blue and made "bluebirds" out of their handprints traced on blue construction paper.
Clowns
Scotlyn joined the "Teddy Bear Club" at the community library. The "members" or kids listen to books being read aloud, watch puppet shows, and make a craft each week.

Private Lessons
Andy has switched band instruments this year which is going to require him to take private lessons. His band teacher didn't give him a choice as to what he could play last year and he really hated it. He is playing the alto saxophone now and tonight was his first lesson. He was so excited after the lesson!!!
